I don’t always agree with amazingatheist and I don’t entirely agree with his commentary, but I do think there is a valid point or two in here. As a male feminist, the way I view feminism is working to equalize men and women - to a point where we all have an equal level of respect for each other, not disrespect. To a point where men and women can look at events like these and all be disgusted that a human being was hurt and violated - not that a man got what he deserved or that a woman was raped justly or any sort of that bullsh. We’re all people, god dammit

It’s irritating how they get treated as if they were born as a privilege. They shouldn’t get any special treatment for being a girl, that’s just stupid. I would happily stand up to a girl if they did something to me. You aren’t a God. You’re just another human being like me, so calm your tits. This world is filled with idiots. Chop my dick off, I’ll skin you alive and drown you in acid, bitch.
